One requirement that most schools have, be it a high school or a college, is the requirement that students enroll in some type of foreign language course. For students in high school, a second language is a requirement for graduation. At the college level, foreign language is a requirement for admission. With this in hand, it is not hard to see that any student, traditionally-schooled or homeschooled, will at one point or another encounter the need to take a foreign language course or class.

For the homeschooled student, learning a second language can present some challenges, especially if the parent delivering the curriculum is not fluent or experienced enough in the language that the student has chosen to study. In these situations, parents often choose to look to an expert in the field to help with the development and even the delivery of a foreign language curriculum.
