One requirement that most schools have, be it a high school or a college, is the requirement that students enroll in some type of foreign language course. For students in high school, a second language is a requirement for graduation. At the college level, foreign language is a requirement for admission. With this in hand, it is not hard to see that any student, traditionally-schooled or homeschooled, will at one point or another encounter the need to take a foreign language course or class.
For the homeschooled student, learning a second language can present some challenges, especially if the parent delivering the curriculum is not fluent or experienced enough in the language that the student has chosen to study.
